White Rock is one of the big clubs on the sand at Melasti, the white-sand beach reached by the road cut through the Ungasan cliffs. The complex steps down to the beach with a lagoon pool, daybeds, sofas and cabanas, a restaurant, several bars and a spa, and it hosts DJ sessions and events into the evening.
Entrance is free and the club is open daily from 10am to 9pm. If you want a bed, you book it against a minimum spend on food and drink. Published rates at the time of writing start at IDR 500K++ for a two-person sofa and IDR 2,000K++ for a single daybed, rising to IDR 3,500K++ for a lagoon bed for four and IDR 8,000K++ for a VIP cabana for twelve. Booking ahead online often includes a welcome drink.
Melasti beach faces west, so sunsets are the main event; arrive by mid-afternoon at weekends to get a good bed. The road down to Melasti has a small entry charge per vehicle, and parking is near the club entrance.
Peak season runs July to August and over Christmas: the best villas and beach-club beds book out early.
