Roosterfish is a Marriott-run beach club on Pandawa beach, the long white-sand bay reached through a road carved into the cliffs at Kutuh, about 15 minutes' drive from Nusa Dua. It is aimed squarely at families, with a large pool by the sand flanked by bamboo cabanas and sun loungers, plus a restaurant and bar.
The menu covers bites, salads, mains, wood-fired pizzas, Indonesian favourites and desserts. A DJ plays every day around sunset. On Sundays there is a seaside brunch from 11am to 3pm with seafood, games for children and live music, and the club is known for its family foam parties. There is also a coral-planting activity for guests who want to take part.
Open daily 10am to 8pm; call or message to reserve a cabana. There is no club entrance fee, but Pandawa beach itself charges a separate admission fee at the gate. The beach is calm on most days, making it one of the better options on the Bukit for younger swimmers.
Peak season runs July to August and over Christmas: the best villas and beach-club beds book out early.
