Bali Brunch

Bali Brunch is a small café on Jl. Pura Batu Pageh in Ungasan, away from the main road. It is run by its friendly owner, known to regulars as Bunda, and has a handful of tables in a cosy room with grey plastered walls and a chandelier, plus a terrace with plants out front. The all-day brunch menu covers big breakfasts with eggs, sausages and beans, avocado toast, burgers, sandwiches, potato wedges and fruit-topped smoothie bowls, with juices and coffee.

It opens Monday to Saturday from 08:00 to 18:00 and is closed on Sundays. Prices are very reasonable for the area and portions are generous. Note that it is cash only, so bring rupiah.

It is a useful find if you are staying in a villa in central Ungasan and want breakfast without driving to the main road cafés. Parking is on the street; the café is a few minutes by scooter from Jl. Raya Uluwatu.
