The Waterblow is a natural spectacle on the eastern tip of the Nusa Dua resort enclave, behind the Peninsula Island park. Ocean swells roll into a narrow cleft in the jagged limestone and are forced upwards, sending columns of spray high into the air and over the viewing platforms.
A paved path and boardwalk lead from the parking area to fenced viewpoints above the rocks. The show depends on the swell and the tide: on a big-swell day around high tide the sprays can be dramatic, while on flat days at low tide there may be little to see, so check a tide chart before going. Stay behind the barriers, as big sets can wash over the rocks without warning.
Google lists opening hours as daily 09:00–18:00. It is a short walk from several Nusa Dua resorts, and the surrounding gardens are pleasant for a stroll. Combine it with Museum Pasifika or the beaches at Geger and Nusa Dua for a relaxed half day.
Peak season runs July to August and over Christmas: the best villas and beach-club beds book out early.
