The calm, reef-protected waters off Tanjung Benoa, the sandy spit that runs north from Nusa Dua, are where most of Bali's motorised water sports happen. The beach along Jalan Segara Kerthi is lined with operators, Pandawa Marine Adventures among them, running parasailing, jet skis, flyboarding, banana and donut boats, wakeboarding and glass-bottom boat trips, plus snorkelling and introductory diving on the nearby reefs.
Most activities run in the morning, when the water is calmer and before the afternoon tide drops, and Google lists hours of 08:00–17:00. Many operators sell multi-activity packages that include hotel transfers from the south of Bali, and prices vary widely, so compare before you commit and agree exactly what is included.
Check that life jackets are provided and that the operator looks well maintained before booking anything high-speed. It is a busy, commercial beach rather than a quiet one, ideal for families and groups after an action-packed morning. The Nusa Dua resorts and Bumbu Bali restaurant are a short ride away.
Peak season runs July to August and over Christmas: the best villas and beach-club beds book out early.
