Dream Corner is a small family warung a couple of minutes on foot from Dreamland (New Kuta) beach, in the Pecatu Indah area. It is a far better-value option than the beachfront cafés right on the sand, and visitors regularly describe it as their first good local meal in Bali.
Food is cooked to order: nasi goreng (including vegetarian versions), mie goreng, chicken satay with peanut sauce, spring rolls and other Balinese and Indonesian plates, with fresh juices and smoothies such as passion fruit. Service is quick and friendly in good English, and prices are modest.
Open daily from 08:00 to 19:30. It is a casual roadside spot with plenty of passing foot traffic, so it is about the food and the price rather than atmosphere. Eat here before or after a swim at Dreamland; remember the beach car park charges a small fee, and the cliffs and waves at Dreamland can be powerful, so check conditions before swimming.
Peak season runs July to August and over Christmas: the best villas and beach-club beds book out early.
