Bombora Balangan Resort

Bombora is a small hotel right above Balangan beach, with rooms in two-storey thatched buildings around a pool and a pool house where breakfast, lunch and sunset cocktails are served. Many rooms look straight out to sea, and the sunsets over the bay are the main event each evening. The style is relaxed Balinese with clean, modern rooms.

There is a surf shop attached to the hotel for board rental and lessons, and the beach, its warungs and the Balangan reef break are just down the steps. The area is quieter than Bingin or Uluwatu, with a convenience store a couple of minutes away by scooter, so it suits people who want to surf, swim in the pool and rest rather than go out.
