BALAGAN Resto & Lounge Bar

BALAGAN is a restaurant and lounge bar in the Pecatu Indah resort area above Dreamland, with an upstairs terrace that looks out over the greens of New Kuta Golf to the ocean. The interior is dark and modern with velvet armchairs, and the outdoor terrace is the place to be for breakfast or sunset. The menu is broad and European-leaning: breakfast platters, salads, pasta and wood-fired pizza, grilled fish and meat, plus a cocktail list that runs late.

It opens from 08:00 until 01:00 every day, which makes it useful both as a breakfast stop after a morning surf at Dreamland and as a late bar in an area that goes quiet after dark. Prices are mid-range and service is quick. There is shisha in the evenings for those who want it.

BALAGAN is on Jl. Pecatu Indah Raya, a couple of minutes' drive from Dreamland beach. Book a terrace table by WhatsApp for sunset. Parking is easy, which is not always the case further down the peninsula.
