Akasa is the signature grill at Jumeirah Bali, set on an open terrace high above Dreamland beach. The kitchen cooks over a wood-fired grill, and the dining terrace looks west over the ocean, making it one of the best sunset dinner settings around Pecatu Indah. Outside guests are welcome.

Expect grilled seafood, skewers, wagyu and tenderloin steaks, alongside starters such as salmon tiradito and sides like truffle mash and garlic sesame green beans. Diners frequently single out the attentive service and small extras from the kitchen. It is firmly at the premium end of the Bukit's price range.

Open daily from 12:00 to 23:00. Book well ahead and request an outdoor table for around 17:30 to catch the sunset; indoor seating is available if the weather turns. The resort is inside the Pecatu Indah estate on Jl. Raya Uluwatu, about 10 minutes from Balangan and 15 minutes from Bingin. Smart-casual dress is appropriate, and it is worth mentioning birthdays or anniversaries when you book.

Peak season runs July to August and over Christmas: the best villas and beach-club beds book out early.
