Warung Cenana (sometimes styled WANA) is a family-style Indonesian restaurant on Jl. Labuansait. From the road it looks modest, but behind the dining room there is a large garden with a bungalow and a swimming pool, making it a surprisingly peaceful spot in a busy stretch of Uluwatu.
The menu covers typical Indonesian dishes such as nasi goreng, mie goreng, curries, gado-gado and gyoza, plus desserts like banana fritters, with good vegetarian options and staff happy to adjust dishes. Prices are low for the area and service is quick, so it works whether you are in a hurry or settling in for a while. Some days a small local market sets up in front and in the garden.
Open daily from 09:00 to 23:00. Try to get a table at the back overlooking the garden, especially around sunset. It is a short ride from both Bingin and Padang Padang, with parking for scooters on the road.
Peak season runs July to August and over Christmas: the best villas and beach-club beds book out early.
