Thirst Trap is a small takeaway-style café on the southern stretch of Jl. Labuansait, in a white building with a yellow-tiled counter and a few seats under palm trees out front. The sign above the counter reads "hot guys hot girls hot coffee", which sums up its playful style.
It covers the basics a surfer needs before or after a session: espresso coffee, iced and blended drinks, fresh juices and smoothies, plus a short food menu of bagels, avocado toast and colourful salad bowls. The bagel sandwiches and smoothies are the most photographed items. Everything is made to order at the counter and packed to go if you prefer.
Open daily 06:30–17:00, with an early start that suits dawn surf sessions. It is a quick, inexpensive stop rather than a place for a long meal; seating is limited to a few tables outside. Parking is on the roadside, next to a cluster of cafés and restaurants.
Peak season runs July to August and over Christmas: the best villas and beach-club beds book out early.
