The Temple Burgers & Grill

The Temple Burgers & Grill is a garden-style restaurant on Jl. Labuansait at the western end of the Padang Padang strip, near the Suluban turn. Stone walls, tropical planting and woven lanterns frame an open dining area that looks attractive at night, despite being on the roadside.

The grill is the focus: sirloin steak, beef and pork ribs, grilled octopus and chicken, plus burgers including the house Padang Padang burger, sliders and fries. Calamari is a popular starter and the milkshakes are well liked. The bar mixes margaritas, mojitos and daiquiris. There is a steak night on Thursdays; specify how you want your steak cooked, as a few diners have found it varies.

Open daily 12:00–23:00. Prices are reasonable for the portion sizes and service is friendly. It is a handy dinner option after sunset at Suluban or Padang Padang, and it sits within walking distance of several bars on the same stretch for a drink afterwards.
