Rolling Fork has been a fixture on Jl. Labuansait for years, in a vintage-styled building with an upstairs kitchen and a large garden terrace strung with lights and surrounded by greenery. It is spacious enough for groups and families.
The kitchen makes its own pasta: ravioli with ricotta and spinach in butter sauce, seafood pasta di mare, carbonara, gnocchi and tagliatelle, plus risotto, burrata, bruschetta and pizza. You can order a pizza made of two different halves, which is a cheap way to try more. Desserts include lava cake and gelato, and there is a bar with cocktails and Italian wine. Breakfast is served from 08:00.
Open daily 08:00–23:00. The restaurant has run Latin nights on Tuesdays and live music in the garden on Fridays; check its Instagram for the current schedule and book ahead on those evenings, when it fills up. Takeaway is available. It sits on the southern stretch of the strip, a short ride from Padang Padang beach.
Peak season runs July to August and over Christmas: the best villas and beach-club beds book out early.
