Ringsun Homestay is a family-run place on Gang Ringsun, off Jl. Umpeng Sari, a few minutes from Padang Padang beach. Its rooms are wooden lumbung-style huts with steep, rounded roofs and small verandas, set around a large, well-kept lawn shaded by palms.
The huts are simple but tidy, with double beds and private bathrooms finished in stone and timber. It is a quieter alternative to the guesthouses on the main road, while still being within easy reach of the cafés, warungs and surf schools of Labuan Sait. Bingin and the Uluwatu clifftops are a short scooter ride away.
Ringsun has a 4.4 rating on Google from around 140 reviews, with guests highlighting the friendly hosts and good value. There is no website, so book through the main booking platforms or contact the homestay by phone or WhatsApp. The lane is narrow and unlit at night, so a torch or phone light helps if you walk back after dinner. Scooter hire and laundry are easy to arrange locally.
Peak season runs July to August and over Christmas: the best villas and beach-club beds book out early.
