My Dear Clara

My Dear Clara is a newer Italian restaurant on Jl. Labuansait that has quickly earned a near-perfect rating. Its point of difference is that both the pasta and the cheese are made on the premises, in a small in-house cheese room, so dishes such as burrata ravioli and fresh mozzarella are especially good.

Diners recommend the yellowfin tuna crudo, duck caramelle, baked layers and the mozzarella served with sambal matah, a Balinese twist. The pistachio tiramisu arrives in a large dish for you to help yourself. The dining room is warm and stylish, there are seats at the bar for couples, and tables are covered in paper with crayons for guests, which children love.

Open daily from 17:00 to 23:00, and until 23:30 at weekends. It suits romantic dinners and family meals alike. Book ahead, as tables fill up in the evening. It is near the eastern end of Jl. Labuansait, close to the Pecatu junction.
