Mamada's is a small café and bakery on the southern stretch of Jl. Labuansait, with a bright orange sign, a tiled interior and a thatched terrace that opens on to a wide lawn and banana trees at the back. It is women-owned and has a relaxed, homely feel.
The bakery case holds cakes, cheesecake, coffee cake and cinnamon rolls, and the kitchen is known for its baked empanadas, quiche and waffles topped with fruit compote and cream. Sticky toffee pudding is a house favourite. There is a full coffee menu, matcha and fresh juices, and breakfast and brunch plates through the day.
Open daily 08:00–18:00. It is a quiet place to work on a laptop or to sit with children, who have space to move about on the lawn. Dogs are allowed. Parking is on the roadside. It rates highly with Google reviewers (4.9 from more than 500 reviews in late 2026).
Peak season runs July to August and over Christmas: the best villas and beach-club beds book out early.
