Kima Surf Camp Uluwatu

Kima's Uluwatu camp sits on the Bukit cliffs about 450 metres from Thomas Beach, less than five minutes' drive from Uluwatu and a short ride from Padang Padang and Bingin. Its model is all-inclusive surfing: the room price covers surf guiding twice a day, seven days a week, video analysis and theory classes, a daily 60-minute yoga session six days a week, breakfast and board rental with leash and rash vest.

Guides pick breaks to suit each level. Beginners usually go to Thomas Beach and Dreamland, intermediates to Balangan and the smaller sections of Padang Padang, and intermediate to advanced surfers to the main Uluwatu peaks, with Padang Padang's barrels, Bingin and Impossibles for advanced guests. When conditions favour the outer reefs, a boat shuttle is included. Complete beginners can add a five-day Learn to Surf course, and private coaching is also available; both are booked separately.
