Dorm beds have privacy curtains, and the open-sided common area, with long wooden tables, a fridge of cold drinks and views over the treetops, is where guests gather to plan surf sessions and nights out. Padang Padang beach, the cafés of the main strip and the Bingin lanes are all within a short walk or scooter ride.
