Bartolo

Bartolo is a neighbourhood bistro on Jl. Labuansait from the team behind Lulu Bistrot in Canggu. It brings a classic French and Italian bistro feel to Uluwatu, with a smart dining room, a bar and a terrace, and it is open for dinner and drinks only.

The menu mixes Mediterranean favourites: sourdough with good olive oil, marinated octopus salad, gambas with lime, pasta, steak and slow-cooked dishes, with classic desserts. The wine list and cocktails are a big part of the experience. Service is warm and attentive, and staff are quick to adjust a dish if something is not quite right.

Open daily from 17:00 to midnight. Book for weekend evenings and special occasions; it has also become a popular choice for festive meals such as Christmas Day. It is at the pricier end of the strip but delivers a polished evening without having to travel to a resort.
