Amara Uluwatu is a small boutique hotel off Jl. Labuansait, within easy reach of Padang Padang beach and the cafés along the strip. The look is simple and Mediterranean-leaning: white walls, thatched roofs, wooden furniture and a long courtyard pool with beanbags and loungers.

Rooms are bright and minimal, with white linen, air conditioning and private bathrooms. The hotel is small enough to feel personal, and surf schools and scooter rentals are close by on the main road. It is a good alternative to the busier hostels and surf camps nearby if you want quiet and comfort at a fair price.

Amara has a 4.9 rating on Google from nearly 190 reviews, among the highest for hotels in the Padang Padang area. Its own website was not working at the time of checking, so book by phone or through the usual booking platforms. Padang Padang beach, Bingin and Uluwatu are all within ten minutes by scooter.
