Ibu Oki is one of the best-known local eateries around Nusa Dua, set on Jl. Siligita off Jl. Raya Nusa Dua Selatan. It is a large open warung that draws office workers, families and tourists, and it has over 7,000 reviews.
The speciality is nasi ayam: rice with chicken prepared four different ways, including betutu-style spiced curry chicken and fried chicken, served with traditional stir-fried vegetables, egg and a hot sambal. There is a nasi campur option too. Drinks are limited to Indonesian iced or warm tea and bottled water. Takeaway portions are sold at several price points from around Rp10,000.
Open daily from 07:00 to 21:00. Food is spicy; ask for less sambal if you prefer. Service is fast but can feel chaotic at lunchtime, so be ready to queue and claim a table. It is a 5 to 10 minute drive from the Nusa Dua hotels. It is one of the most affordable sit-down meals in the area.
Peak season runs July to August and over Christmas: the best villas and beach-club beds book out early.
