The Mulia

The Mulia is the all-suite, butler-serviced part of the Mulia estate on the beach at Sawangan, at the southern end of Nusa Dua. The wider complex also includes Mulia Resort and Mulia Villas, and guests of The Mulia can use many of the shared restaurants, pools and the large Mulia Spa.

Suites are large, many with outdoor hot tubs and ocean views, and The Mulia has its own quieter pools, including the Oasis pool by the sea, plus complimentary afternoon tea and cocktails for suite guests. The beach in front is sheltered by the reef and generally calm for swimming.

Service is the standout in guest reviews. The estate is enormous, so ask for a buggy if you are walking between restaurants with children. Nusa Dua's shopping centre and the Waterblow are a short drive north, and the airport is around 25 minutes away. Book dinner reservations in advance in high season.
