Coco Bistro is a long-established restaurant on Jl. Pratama, the road that runs the length of the Tanjung Benoa peninsula past its hotels and water-sports centres. It has a shaded garden terrace under frangipani trees, an indoor dining room and a bar. The menu is broad: seafood and lobster platters, grilled mahi-mahi and barramundi, calamari, salmon, lamb chops, beef brisket, pasta and pizza, plus Indonesian dishes and desserts such as chocolate lava cake and crème brûlée cheesecake.
It opens daily from 12:00 to 23:00. Prices are mid-range and noticeably lower than the hotel restaurants nearby, and staff are attentive even when it is busy. It is a reliable choice for families and groups staying in Tanjung Benoa or the north end of Nusa Dua.
Book by WhatsApp in high season, as it fills up at dinner. Many hotels on the peninsula are within walking distance.
Peak season runs July to August and over Christmas: the best villas and beach-club beds book out early.
