UNIQUE Rooftop Bar & Restaurant

UNIQUE is on the roof of RIMBA, the hillside hotel within the AYANA estate in Jimbaran. By day it works as a pool club, with a rooftop pool and loungers; from the afternoon into the night it turns into a cocktail bar and restaurant, with open-air seating that gives 360-degree views over the forest canopy to the ocean.

The kitchen specialises in Mexican food, with spicy tacos and birria de res among the dishes, and the bar has a list of signature cocktails. A DJ plays through sunset, which is the busiest time. It is a dressier spot than the beach bars of the Bukit, and cocktails are priced accordingly, and it is open to non-guests.

Hours are 11am to 11pm daily. Reservations can be made online through the AYANA website. Once inside the estate, the RIMBA stop on the resort shuttle is about a five-minute walk away, so allow extra time to get there before the sun goes down.
