Rock Bar Bali

Rock Bar is built on the natural rocks at the foot of the cliffs at AYANA Bali in Jimbaran, just above the waves. It is one of the best-known sunset bars in Bali, with around 880 seats spread over 22 seating areas, including the Round Deck on its own rock outcrop and the Top Bar, an open-air counter that reaches out towards the sea.

Access is by an inclinator that carries you down the cliff face, which is part of the experience. The menu is cocktails, wine and tapas-style plates, and a DJ plays through the evening. The sunset is the main draw, and the queue for the inclinator can be long in the hour before it.

The bar is open to non-guests, but reservations are recommended and can be made online through the AYANA website; some seating areas carry a minimum spend. Guests aged 12 and above are counted as adults when booking. Allow time to get through the large AYANA estate from the main gate, and arrive at least an hour before sunset.
