Kisik is the seafood restaurant at AYANA Resort, set low on the resort's rocky shoreline, close to the waves, rather than up on the clifftop. It is a dinner-only venue built around a fresh seafood market: you choose your fish, prawns, lobster or other catch and the kitchen grills it, with sides served in stages. Some tables sit on a small bridge reaching out towards the water.
The appeal is the setting. Sunset here, with waves breaking on the rocks and Balinese musicians playing, is one of the most polished seafood dinners on Jimbaran's southern headland. It is priced accordingly, so it suits a celebration rather than a casual night; diners report bills well above typical Jimbaran beach cafés.
Kisik opens from 17:30 to 23:00 daily and welcomes non-resident guests. Reserve through AYANA, ask for a table near the water and arrive before sunset. Smart-casual dress suits the setting, and a set seafood menu is a simpler option than choosing every item by weight.
Peak season runs July to August and over Christmas: the best villas and beach-club beds book out early.
