Belmond Jimbaran Puri

Belmond Jimbaran Puri sits directly on Jimbaran Bay, one of the few resorts in the area with its own stretch of the main beach rather than a clifftop position. Accommodation is in Balinese-style cottages and private pool villas spread through tropical gardens, with an oceanfront pool, a beachside spa and the Tunjung restaurant facing the water.

The location is the main appeal: the calm, sandy bay is good for swimming for much of the year, and the famous Jimbaran seafood cafés are within walking distance along the sand, which makes a sunset fish dinner easy without arranging transport. The resort also runs activities such as boat cruises and cooking sessions.

It is roughly 15–20 minutes from the airport, so it works well for a first or last night in Bali. Book villas early for school-holiday periods, and ask for a cottage near the beach if sea views matter to you.
