InterContinental Bali Resort

The InterContinental Bali Resort stretches along the sand in the middle of Jimbaran Bay, set in gardens of frangipani and palms with a series of pools, including a long main pool. Rooms are in low-rise wings and range from standard rooms to suites and Club InterContinental rooms with lounge access; many have balconies facing the sea.

The resort has a spa, several restaurants and bars, and a beachfront terrace that is set up for sunset drinks and dinner with lanterns in the trees. A kids' club and family rooms make it one of the easier places on the Bukit for families with young children. Jimbaran's seafood cafés and the Kedonganan fish market are a short walk or drive along the beach.

The location is convenient: around 15 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from the Uluwatu beaches. Rates are at the upper end, but deals are frequent through IHG's website, where members can also book late check-out.
