White Water is a restaurant, bar and surf shop under one roof on Jalan Pantai Bingin. By day it serves healthy breakfasts, high-protein plates and all-day brunch, with breads and pastries made in house, speciality Indonesian coffee roasted in Bali and matcha. In the evening the focus moves to seafood, cooked simply with Mediterranean, European and Asian influences and using local and organic produce where it can.

The space has a mid-century, coastal feel, with an open kitchen upstairs where you can watch the chefs work, and a shop selling surfboards and clothing. Expect dishes such as whole-fish crudo, fish and chips, lobster with fries and seafood pastas; the burger is a popular non-fish choice. Prices sit at the top end for Bingin.

It opens daily from 7am to 11pm, so it works for a post-surf breakfast as well as dinner. Book a table for evenings through the website or WhatsApp, especially at weekends. Parking is limited on the narrow Bingin road, so a scooter or Grab drop-off is easiest.

Peak season runs July to August and over Christmas: the best villas and beach-club beds book out early.
