The Loft

The Loft is a brunch café set slightly back from Jl. Labuansait at the Bingin junction, in the same block as Drifter and Nourish. Its high ceilings, fans and plants keep it cool in the heat of the day, and the walls are hung with artwork that gives it a distinctive feel.

The menu runs from breakfast staples such as ricotta hotcakes, avocado toast and bacon and egg bagels to lunch plates including a Brazilian-inspired steak and chicken lunch with sweet mashed potato. There are good options for people with allergies and plant-based diets. Coffee splits opinion, but the food is widely praised.

Open daily from 07:30 to 22:00. It is a good choice if you want a relaxed indoor-style café rather than an open-air warung, and a handy stop before or after shopping along the strip. Some items, such as the açaí bowl, are priced at the upper end, so check the menu.
