Motel Mexicola Uluwatu

Motel Mexicola's Uluwatu branch sits on Jalan Pantai Bingin and is the group's largest venue, with around 350 seats on the limestone clifftop. It takes its cue from the coastline, desert and surf towns of Baja California, with bold, immersive design, open-fire cooking and a long agave list.

The menu is built around hand-pressed tortillas, seafood from the grill and the asador. Starters run from oysters with michelada and habanero salsa to chargrilled plates, followed by tacos and larger sharing dishes. Margaritas and other agave cocktails are the main draw at the bar. It suits groups and celebrations more than a quiet dinner, and it gets lively later in the evening.

It is open daily from 11am to midnight. Bookings can be made online or by WhatsApp and are recommended for sunset and weekend dinners. As it is a large site on a narrow road, plan your drop-off and pick-up with Grab or Gojek in advance at closing time.
