Banana Lounge

Banana Lounge is a pool lounge, restaurant and breakfast café on Jalan Tanjung Simah, the lane between Bingin and Impossibles. The centrepiece is a long pool lined with sunbeds, cabanas and bougainvillea, with a bamboo-roofed dining room alongside. It is a relaxed place to spend an afternoon after a surf rather than a party venue, and families are welcome. Music is kept at background level during the day.

The menu covers breakfast (eggs, açaí bowls, good coffee), lunch plates such as arancini and salade niçoise, and dinner. Weekly specials include BBQ Sundays and Balinese Wednesdays, and the venue also hosts morning yoga, private parties and retreats. Happy hour runs from 4pm to 6pm.

It is open daily from 7am to 11pm. You can reserve a table or lounger through the website or by WhatsApp, which is worth doing at weekends. The lane is narrow, so arrive by scooter or ask your driver to drop you at the entrance.
